Transfer report: Orlando Pirates sign Golden Arrows superstar

Orlando Pirates have completed the signing of highly-rated attacking midfielder Siyanda Ndlovu from Golden Arrows, wrapping up a deal that had been rumored for weeks. According to FARPost journalist Mthokozisi Dube, the Buccaneers reached an agreement with Arrows on the transfer fee, and the 22-year-old has accepted personal terms. The move is part of Orlando Pirates’ aggressive recruitment drive ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with the club looking to strengthen its squad for both domestic and continental ambitions.

Ndlovu, nicknamed “Skhwishi,” arrives on the back of a standout season in Durban, where he made 31 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing eight assists. His performances attracted attention from Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, but Pirates won the race for his signature. The signing is viewed as a long-term investment, particularly with growing speculation that Relebohile Mofokeng could secure a move overseas. Even if Mofokeng stays, Ndlovu adds valuable creativity and depth to an already talented attacking department.
