Transfer news: Released Orlando Pirates star signs in Europe!

Former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Karim Kimvuidi has completed a permanent transfer to Israeli club Hapoel Petah Tikva ahead of the 2026/27 season, following his unexpected departure from the Soweto side last week. The 24-year-old DR Congo international has signed a contract for the upcoming term, with an option to extend the agreement by a further two years. Kimvuidi joins Hapoel Petah Tikva after spending last season on loan at M.S. Ashdod, where he impressed by scoring four league goals and providing two assists. That successful spell revived his career and paved the way for a permanent stay in Israel, particularly after he struggled to establish himself as a regular starter with the Buccaneers in the Betway Premiership.
