Here’s who has scored Kaizer Chiefs’ 41 goals this season

Kaizer Chiefs have rediscovered their attacking edge in the latter stages of their 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign, a vast improvement on their earlier struggles in front of goal that has reignited belief among the Amakhosi faithful. The resurgence has been spearheaded by Flavio Silva, Glody Lilepo and Mduduzi Shabalala, with the Portuguese forward Silva leading the charge as the club's top scorer on nine goals across all competitions. Seven of those strikes have come in the league, complemented by goals in both the Nedbank Cup and CAF Confederation Cup. Silva recently downplayed comparisons to global icons like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, insisting he simply needs good service to deliver—a philosophy now validated by his clinical finishing.

Lilepo has made a particularly strong impact in continental competition with four CAF Confederation Cup goals, bringing his season tally to eight goals across all competitions. Shabalala sits third on the scoring charts with five league goals, while additional contributions have come from players including Wandile Duba, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Mfundo Vilakazi and Khanyisa Mayo, indicating a more balanced attacking threat emerging at the club. Across all competitions, Kaizer Chiefs have scored 41 goals—29 in the Betway Premiership, 11 in the CAF Confederation Cup, and one in the Nedbank Cup.

Despite their improved attacking form, Kaizer Chiefs' 29 Betway Premiership goals in 25 matches still trails significantly behind rivals Orlando Pirates with 51 and Mamelodi Sundowns with 43. Even AmaZulu and Golden Arrows have scored more frequently in the league this season
