Final run: Kaizer Chiefs’ last four fixtures

Kaizer Chiefs' impressive seven-match unbeaten run came to an abrupt end on Wednesday evening with a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Siwelele FC in Bloemfontein. Despite the setback, the Glamour Boys remain firmly in third place with 47 points, maintaining their grip on a CAF Confederation Cup spot. The loss leaves them comfortably ahead of fourth-placed AmaZulu, who sit on 42 points as the season enters its final stretch.

With just four matches remaining in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season, Kaizer Chiefs face a demanding run of fixtures that will test their credentials in the closing weeks. Their immediate challenge comes against defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns away on Wednesday, 6 May, before they embark on a challenging trip north to Limpopo to face Sekhukhune United on Sunday, 10 May. The schedule then takes them to Durban to battle AmaZulu on Saturday, 16 May, before they conclude their campaign at home against Chippa United on Saturday, 23 May.

Looking beyond the current campaign, significant changes appear to be looming at Naturena. Co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef are rumoured to be departing when their contracts expire in June, signaling another managerial overhaul at the Soweto club. Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly pursuing Golden Arrows' Manqoba Mngqithi and Sead Ramovic, the former TS Galaxy mentor currently leading Algerian outfit CR Belouizdad, as potential replacements for the coaching hot seat.
